About Me
Hi! I'm a trilingual journalist focused on hyper-local, business, climate and data reporting. A recent graduate of UC Berkeley's Journalism School, I've previously worked at Newslaundry, Mint Lounge, Richmond Confidential, Inside Climate News, and published pieces in ThePrint India and LiveWire.
Over the past two years, I've reported on climate and environmental stories, the effects of the pandemic on India's young workforce, the housing market in Berkeley, global warming in the San Francisco Bay Area, police use of force in California, and community health in Richmond, CA. The breadth of my reporting experience has allowed me to experiment across beats and learn new things with every story.
I'm also a member of the Investigative Reporters and Editors, the Society for Professional Journalists, and the South Asian Journalists Association. Currently based in the Bay Area, I split my time between the West Coast and New York City.
