Ruchi Shahagadkar is a journalist from India. Currently a multimedia and data journalism graduate student at UC Berkeley, she has previously interned at Newslaundry, Mint Lounge, Richmond Confidential, Inside Climate News and published pieces in ThePrint India and LiveWire.

In addition to being a student, Ruchi is a member of the Investigative Reporters and Editors, serves as a member on ABC7's NextGen Youth Advisory Council and is a student instructor at UC Berkeley's Media Studies Department.
